Channing Tatum goes on a tour in Dog’s first trailer

The first trailer on the subject Dog has been released and features Channing Tatum embarking on a road trip adventure with a very energetic and complex four-legged companion.

In the film, Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) is tasked with bringing a Belgian Malinois dog named Lulu to a soldier who has fallen into his funeral. Judging from the trailer, Lulu has had a tough job since losing her director and it looks like Ranger Briggs is also looking for a little purpose. We see them cheerfully without seeing them eye to eye, but as the trailer moves, it looks like Briggs and Lulu are starting to form a real bond. Movie goers love dogs and many of them also love Channing Tatum, so this could prove to be an easy win at the box office.

Dog is in fact directed by Tatum and Reid from a manuscript written by Carolin with Brett Rodriguez. The film was actually filmed in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic and was originally scheduled for release on February 12, 2021, but was later postponed to July. The MGM, which acquired the film, moved the film back to its current release date February 18, 2022.
