Japanese toaster to introduce a smartphone

Known for its mostly distinctive steam-powered toaster and other lifestyle offerings, BALMUDA has now unveiled its debut smartphone. The Japanese company first announced in May that it intends to expand beyond its distinctive devices, and has now entered the smartphone market entirely with the help of the “BALMUDA phone”.

Developed in partnership with Kyocera, the Android device features a compact profile with a 4.9-inch screen with 1080p resolution, a 48-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and a fingerprint sensor. Equipped with a 5G connection, the BALMUDA phone has a Snapdragon 765 processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and 2,500mA of battery capacity.

Currently available exclusively in Japan, the Balmuda Phone is available through Softbank by pre-order on November 17 at 10:00 AM JST (November 16 at 8:00 PM EDT) and delivery time is November 26.

If you forget it, AIRINUM recently grabbed UNDERCOVER for Urban Air Mask 2.0.
