Ravens cut runner Le’Veon Bell on Tuesday, but they don’t oppose the idea of returning him to the team.
Head coach John Harbaugh said the team needed a spot with players returning from injuries, but he appreciated the “professionalism, attitude and work ethic” that Bell brought with him while in Ravens. He announced that the team is ready to bring him back to either the active list or the training team in the future.
“He can still play,” Harbaugh said through Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. “Let’s see where we go. Things can turn in one direction or another.”
Murray was 83 yards on 31 moves in five games with the Ravens. Latavius Murray may return after an ankle injury this week to go backstage with Devonta Freeman.
