Posts Kohli is training with Sanjay Bangar in Mumbai

Indian test captain Virat Kohli has begun preparations for the upcoming second test against New Zealand. The match will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 3, 2021.

Kohli, who decided to take a break after the recent U20 World Cup in the UAE, will rejoin the team after the first test in New Zealand in Kanpur ends.

As part of his preparations for the upcoming game, Virat Kohli has sought help from former Indian assistant coach and RCB head coach Sanjay Bangari. The two were seen sweating it in nets trying to solve some of Virat’s recent problems with the racket.

In the absence of Kohl, Ajinkya Rahane will lead the Indian team in the first test match against kiwis in progress.

Posts Kohl’s problems with the racket in the longest form of the game

Posts Kohli has been wrestling with the racket in test cricket for some time. The skipper is nowhere near his best, and more than two years have passed since he was last registered in the international cricket of the century.

The 33-year-old has gone through a difficult phase of his last home game against Bangladesh in November 2019. Since the beginning of 2020, the Delhi-born has played in 20 tests in India. However, he has not managed to make a big impact with the racket at home or in the guests.

In 21 innings, Virat Kohli managed to collect just 563 runs with an average of 26.80. Kohli crossed the 50-run limit five times with the highest score of 74.

In his four test matches played in India, Virat made just 172 runs, averaging close to 29 during that time.

Under the skillful guidance of Sanjay Bangar before the next, Teste fans hope to see the legendary dough back at its best in a few days.
