I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here! rival Richard Madeley has been taken to hospital after falling ill at the camp.
A TV presenter was sent from Gwyrch Castle, where the reality series is currently being filmed in Wales, to see a doctor when he felt unwell earlier this morning (November 25).
An ITV spokesman said: “Richard was unwell in the morning and was immediately seen by our medical team on site.
“He has since been taken to the hospital as a precaution, and the health and safety of our fellow campers is a priority for us.”
The news follows the events of Wednesday (November 24), when Madeley competed in the Castle Kitchen Nightmares Challenge.
In it, Madeley tried to find a series of stars in a gloomy kitchen full of bugs and rodents. He also had to dive down a gutter full of rotten food and fish guts.
The 65-year-old returned to his campmates disappointed with his performance when he managed to collect just four out of 10 stars.
Earlier this month, Madeley confirmed that she had accepted a permanent role Good morning Britain.
One of ITV’s popular aamuchat programs has disappeared from one of its regular hosts since Piers Morgan’s controversial departure earlier this year.
