Honestly, we underestimated the impact of COVID on our schedules, even though everyone adapted very quickly to the telecommuting arrangement and was still incredibly productive.
However, due to the size and scope of our innovation Saints Row, it has become clear that in order to create the best possible game, we need to give our team more time to develop their skills.
As mentioned when we announced Saints Row in august this is the biggest and best Saints Row game ever, and in order to achieve our goals we have decided to give us ample but necessary time to achieve our goals.
You can be sure that no changes will be made to the story, the characters, or anything we have lovingly imagined over the past few years and shared with you.
In the last two years, all aspects of the entertainment industry have suffered / been affected in one way or another. As players ourselves, we know what it feels like to be delayed by something you’ve been waiting for; it’s frustrating and you’re disappointed. But we’ll know it when we finally get it Saints Row in your hands, it has been worth the wait. It is our absolute priority to get this right.
